Robotics Program: 4-H has developed a comprehensive robotics program to inspire young people and develop an early interest in robotics engineering and technology. 4-H Robotics is delivered through 4-H clubs, camps, school enrichment, and after-school programs nationwide. Young people will engage in service learning and community service projects, develop leadership and citizenship skills, and develop numerous life skills taught in 4-H clubs nationwide.
BEAM (Buffalo-Area Engineering Awareness for Minorities)
BEAM is a cooperative educational enrichment program that prepares inner city, minority, female and other under-represented students for careers in science, engineering and technology. Students will spend 4 – 5 weeks participating in enrichment activities that provide intensive instruction in the topics of mathematics, science, communications, and computer applications.
All participants attend field trips to enhance their learning experiences and receive career information from speakers in the field. Programming will take place July 6 – July 31. Post 11 grade program will end on Friday, August 7.
A one-week camp will be offered for girls entering grades 8 – 10. The camp will take place August 3 – August 7
Tinker—An Engineering Camp for High School Girls
Join us this summer at Tinker, a unique, one-week summer engineering camp for high school girls! Participants will have the opportunity to explore the diverse fields of engineering through hands-on projects, workshops, presentations, and visits to local engineering companies.

ID Tech: Camps, Academies, and Online Learning
This is a network of camps and other resources for learning programming, robotics, game design, and more. ID Tech has locations at various US campuses, including Case Western (Cleveland, OH), Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh, PA), and Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY). There are no locations in Buffalo yet, but they also offer Tech Rocket, an online learning program.
